Accent lights come in all shapes and sizes. This bedroom is transformed into a resort-like getaway. We have seen accent lights under raised bathroom cabinets too and they work great for night lights.
Recessed Lighting
Recessed lighting has come a long way since the 70’s and 80’s. They are available in a variety of sizes and have a lot of different trims to choose from.
They also are available in LED too! Have I mentioned LED enough yet? Man those LED’s are great and save money. Joking aside, old school recess lights used to put off a ton of heat and could be expensive to run, but not anymore with (you guessed it) LED!
Landscape Lighting
Landscape lights can really increase the beauty of a yard at night. They can be used as accent lights, indirect floods to shine up trees or even step lights to see where you are going.
Recently we finished the landscape lighting for a pool area (not pictured). We installed lights under the steps and along a knee wall out side. Although they were used mainly for safety, they really turned out beautiful and added to the overall ambience of the deck.
